Northern Fox Fires

Explanation: In a Finnish myth, when an arctic fox runs so fast that its bushy tail brushes the mountains, flaming sparks are cast into the heavens creating the northern lights. In fact the Finnish word “revontulet”, a name for the aurora borealis or northern lights, can be translated as fire fox. So that evocative myth took on a special significance for the photographer of this northern night skyscape from Finnish Lapland near Kilpisjarvi Lake. The snowy scene is illuminated by moonlight. Saana, an iconic fell or mountain of Lapland, rises at the right in the background. But as the beautiful nothern lights danced overhead, the wild fire fox in the foreground enthusiastically ran around the photographer and his equipment, making it difficult to capture in this lucky single shot.

Ok to tell you what is going on and why there are going to be a few days of these old news stories doing things most people don’t want shows the tRump cult doing horrendous stuff. During the last two months I have not been able to find time to read even the Joe My God headlines much less read news. Getting the cartoon / memes post out was the most I could do with the time I had and even then there were missed days. My time that I could force myself to stay awake and out of my bed was spent making meals, cleaning up making / cooking meals, and doing it three times a day so that Ron could drive himself to redo the two torn up bathrooms. Especially as the deadline of his needing to go to Texas to help his sister and bringing her back here. For the first time I was able to go back through Joe My God’s headlines and stories. I went back over 36 webpages leaving open 270 open tabs of stuff I need to sort post, and to share. Hope you enjoy. Tomorrow’s work will be getting to the wonderful comments I love so much. And I wrote this several days ago and still no time. But it is getting better. Hugs

So this time, it’s Rep. Jasmine Crockett.
She speaks truth when she speaks; in the Guardian published yesterday, she stated that while she will run in and continue to serve TX, her running is bigger than TX because the Senate makes many decisions for the entire country, and she will keep her vision broad. She said more, as well, all good. Maybe I should look it up; it was in yesterday’s Guardian newsletter so probably we’ve all already read it. Meanwhile, lets get some good people elected! It only costs some time; money is only involved if we are able and choose to contribute. But they really need our time and our thoughtful conversation with people we know, in order to get out the vote. We can have a good legislature, if we want it. What we do shows what we care about.
